Arrive Guwahati airport. Drive to Shillong (2.5 hrs) — capital of Meghalaya, Rock Music capital of India. Visit Elephant Falls (three-tiered waterfall), Ward's Lake and Police Bazaar. Overnight Shillong.
Day 02
🌡 Wettest Place on Earth
Drive to Cherrapunji (56 km). Visit Nohkalikai Falls (India's tallest plunge waterfall, 340m), Eco Park and Seven Sisters Falls viewpoint. Mawsmai Cave — illuminated limestone cave 150m long. Overnight Cherrapunji.
Day 03
🌠 Double Decker Marvel
Full-day trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat village — 3,500 steps down and back up. These bridges are bio-engineered by the Khasi people from rubber tree roots over 15-50 years. Crystal-clear natural swimming pool at the base. A UNESCO tentative listing. Overnight Cherrapunji.
Day 04
🏖 Asia's Cleanest Village
Drive to Mawlynnong (Asia's cleanest village, awarded 2003 & 2005). Bamboo Sky Walk with views into Bangladesh. Balancing Rock. Drive to Dawki — crystal-clear Umngot River where boats appear to float in mid-air. Boat ride. Overnight Shillong or Dawki.
Day 05
💧 Last River Morning
Morning boat ride on Dawki. Drive back to Shillong. Don Bosco Museum of Indigenous Cultures. Shillong Peak viewpoint (1,965m). Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians. Overnight Shillong.
Day 06
✈️ Farewell to the Clouds
Drive to Guwahati (2.5 hrs). Kamakhya Devi Temple (one of India's most powerful Shakti Peethas). Transfer to airport. Take home the wonder of root bridges and crystal rivers.
