Day 01
🍁 Rolling Green Hills
Drive from Kochi to Munnar (4 hrs, 130 km) through rubber plantations and stunning Western Ghats. En route stop at Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Arrive Munnar — surrounded by 600 sq km of tea estates. Evening guided walk through tea gardens. Overnight.
Day 02
🏔 Eravikulam NP & Top Station
Morning Eravikulam National Park — the last viable population of Nilgiri Tahr (rare mountain goat). Leopards and elephants also spotted. Top Station (2,000m) panoramic Tamil Nadu border views. Echo Point and Kundala Lake boat ride. KDHP Tea Museum with tasting session. Overnight.
Day 03
🥊 Heart-Shaped Lake
Early 7 AM drive to trailhead. Trek up Chembra Peak (2,100m, 8 km round trip, 4-5 hrs) through shola forests and grasslands to the famous heart-shaped lake near the summit — said to never dry up. 360° panoramic views of Western Ghats. Drive to Wayanad (3.5 hrs). Overnight Wayanad.
Day 04
🦉 Wildlife Safari
Morning jeep safari in Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary — gaur, elephants, leopards and kingfishers. Afternoon Edakkal Caves — two natural limestone caves with 6,000-year-old Neolithic petroglyphs. Soochipara Waterfall swim. Overnight.
Day 05
✈️ Back to the City
Morning Pookode Lake — freshwater lake in dense forest, accessible on foot. Boat rides available. Drive to Kochi airport (4 hrs). The fragrance of cardamom and the mist of Munnar travel home with you.
