Day 01
♿ Sikkim Capital
Arrive Bagdogra airport. Drive to Gangtok (4 hrs, 117 km) through winding mountain roads crossing the Teesta River. Check in. Evening at MG Marg — Gangtok's vibrant pedestrian street. Overnight.
Day 02
⛰ Rumtek & Monasteries
Rumtek Monastery (Kagyu Buddhism seat in exile — one of the most important in the world). Enchey Monastery. Tashi View Point for Kangchenjunga views. Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. Do-Drul Chorten stupa. Ropeway over Gangtok for aerial valley views. Overnight.
Day 03
🏔 Indo-China Border
Excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake (3,753m) — a glacial lake sacred to the Sikkimese. Continue to Nathu La Pass (4,310m) — one of the few open India-China border crossings on the ancient Silk Route. Permits required (arranged by us). Overnight Gangtok.
Day 04
⛰ Pemayangtse Monastery
Drive to Pelling (4 hrs). Visit Pemayangtse Monastery (1705 AD, one of the oldest in Sikkim). Sangachoeling Monastery (1697, oldest in Sikkim). Pelling offers the clearest Kangchenjunga views in the state. Overnight.
Day 05
🌌 Khecheopalri Lake
Khecheopalri Lake (sacred wish-fulfilling lake). Singshore Bridge (highest suspension bridge in Eastern India). Rimbi Waterfall. Rabdentse Ruins (ancient 17th-century capital of Sikkim). Overnight.
Day 06
🍁 Queen of the Hills
Drive to Darjeeling (3.5 hrs). Arrive. Evening at Chowrasta (Mall). Sip authentic Darjeeling First Flush tea at a traditional tea house. Overnight.
Day 07
☀️ Kangchenjunga at Dawn
4 AM drive to Tiger Hill — iconic sunrise over Kangchenjunga (world's 3rd highest). Batasia Loop for the UNESCO Darjeeling Himalayan Railway toy train joyride. Happy Valley Tea Estate. Transfer to Bagdogra airport.
